Jim Drury (jimnden) | 16 comments Looking to find a book from about 20 years ago , well known author as I remember . A "trail" that indicates star ship travel is detected at a vast distance(obviously occurring many many years ago) , a small group is put together to travel to the area , knowing that as time passes different at near light speed , their 6 year mission will cover thousands of years . They do take a detour along the way , and end up returning about 10,000 years from when they left .

It was a hard cover , I seem the remember a ship on the cover that was round more than long , could be wrong on that . The group left from Earth , and I remember about halfway through the trip the trails from their view seemed to stop , making it a mission to something that no longer existed . Bit a of downbeat book as I remember .

Jim Drury (jimnden) | 16 comments I wish there was an app for computer or tablet , that would keep a list of your favorite authors , then download a dated list of their works. I have a old fashion notebook back from when I used to collect book , had somewhere around 2500 until I sold/donated .
