1 book done: Finished I Contain Multitudes: The Microbes Within Us and a Grander View of Life 2/24/18
5 books done:Finished The Color of Magic by Terry Pratchett 4/29
Deviating from my list a little, finished A Wind in the Door by Madeleine L’Engle 4/30/18
and starting The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan
Finished Lightning Thief 5/20Had to read a couple library books for book club. Currently reading A Swiftly Tilting Planet. So much for my plan, but these are all definitely books I’ve owned for over a year.
Another one bites the dust! Finished The Language of Flowers by Vanessa Diffenbaugh. It was a very moving story and I really enjoyed it. I was never particularly drawn to it (obviously, since it's been sitting here for 5 years or so) but now I'm glad I read it. Heartfelt and raw. The ending wrapped up a little too tidily, but that's sort of expected and allowed in this type of book.
Daaaaaang I still need to read 5 previously owned books in the next 2 months. The library is my kryptonite! Not to mention joining too many book clubs and buddy reads. Off to find the 5 shortest books on my shelf, stat! Can ... she ... make ... it... (pant, pant) ...
