Now, please do not feel obligated to give an introduction. This is not one of those groups where the moderator is a pest that's like "don't share books if you don't introduce yourself". The main focus of this club is to share a book for someone to read, not introductions. But just in case you want to, please do.

I will start.

My name is Reese Anderson. I am an author. My most recent piece is a fictional book (available in paperback) called When It Rains, It Pours. You can read the first chapter on my GoodReads page OR Amazon and it is available in the Kindle Unlimited option. I like to read, mostly fiction, contemporary fiction, urban, and travel books. I am a sports fanatic, in particularly basketball. And I am a Hip Hop head.

My name is Jason, and I recently published a children's book entitled "Mighty Jack Climbs Mount Everest". It is part of the Kindle Unlimited program, and I am currently running a signed giveaway as well.(Ending Aug. 20) The book has lots of illustrations, and is good for 4-8 year old children. I'm excited about the KU program because our kids love to read/have stories read to them, and now we can read lots of books inexpensively.

I pretty much read anything (although I'm not a huge fan of romance though I've had moments where I've found a few I liked). My top genres are sci-fi & thriller/mystery. I do like fantasy & steampunk but I'm more picky about that since a lot falls into the romance genre too.
Love having Kindle Unlimited b/c it keeps me reading and I find a lot more books to try - b/c who cares if it's bad if it's free right? Less risk ;)

I also write and have 3 erotic romance short stories on KU if you are interested in a quick read.

Book 1 is about an ex-ballerina who is asked to give a private dance to a sexy illusionist.

Why didn't I find this group before (*facepalms)? All my books are on KU. All erotic, 1 a gentle introduction to BDSM the others full on dark...;)

Sadly Australia hasn't been given access to Kindle Unlimited yet, so even if we look up a book on the Kindle or on the Amazon website the knowledge of whether a book is in the KU program is hidden from us.
If a patient and generous American would befriend me, I would like to send lists of books I have already read to him/her so they could tell me whether the books are in KU or not. Then I could post about the subset of books that are KU in the appropriate threads on this group.
I write and blog non-fiction, but I am awed by those who have the talent to produce great fiction.
May KU get extended to more countries soon!
