This is where you discuss your thoughts about Bella picking Jacob instead of Edward.

Ha what! I'm glad she picked Edward.... But I guess it would off been cool to c what would of happened if she had chosen Jacob.....

Yeah I just can't picture her with Jacob.

I know it just seams soooo wrong :(

Yeah I just feel like she wouldn't be as happy with Jacob as she is with Edward.

I mean from the start she was utterly in love with Edward and then when she was with Jacob sure the hole in her chest was healing but I always thought that it wouldn't fully heal and the fact that she ended up going to save Edward and offered her life for his proves that she would never be truly happy without Edward.....

Yeah I think her going to Italy show that she truly loves Edward way more than Jacob.

Most assuredly she chose correctly. However I think that Jacob really does love her and therein lies a BIG problem. It's a case of loving her enough to let her be happy in her own life and I don't think he's there yet in the beginning of Eclipse!

I don't think Jacobs there until he imprints Renesmee. He just never could get over the fact that she picked Edward over him. You can really see this in his part in Breaking Dawn.

I still have to finish Eclipse. I'm about half-way there as of now! Can't wait to finish!

Okay. First off, you can't really grasp the whole discussion until you have finished the whole saga. Then, you will know how it ends, and you'll be able to have a better opinion.

Second, #Team Edward.

THIRD, I don't even know why people ask this question?? I mean come oonn!! IF you've finished the saga, you would know it ends in a happy and satisfying way.

Now, for the actual topic.

For sure, Bella should have picked Edward. One, if Jacob loved Bella that much, don't you think he would have imprinted on her already? In the book, even if he did, Bella would have still had the choice (and she would have picked Edward) Bella only got so attached to Jacob because in New Moon, Edward ditched her for a while. (He said he would have come back soon anyways, so yeah.) PLUS, at the end of Breaking Dawn, Bella's said that her friendship/need for Jacob was much healthier then before, meaning she wasn't obsessed, or needed him as much. (If that makes sense) Another note: JACOB IMPRINTED ON RENEESME FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! I believe that shows why Jacob was attached to Bella, but never quite imprinted. So, when Jacob imprinted on Reneesme, him and Bella still had a connection, but they were both happy. In the end, Jacob and Reneesme are happy, and Edward and Bella are happy.
SO, for this and many more reasons, I think Bella chose correctly by choosing Edward.

(Personally, I don't think there is an actual choice, but whatever. If people want to think Bella -could- have chosen Jacob (after reading the whole Saga) then fine. I mean, how could you NOT be happy with the end of Breaking Dawn?? And people still want to be on #TeamJacob, or have Bella choose Jacob? *sighs* )

True Alice I haven't read the whole saga but I still think that Bella chose correctly. I also believe that at the end of Eclipse Jacob truly believes that Bella is his one true love. He's 16 I believe and he feels like he knows what he wants. The way he runs off after reading the wedding invitation is so sad. He truly loves Bella and he's not sure that he can live a human life without her at that point. I was in tears. I really felt for Jacob. On the other hand I know for sure that Bella chose correctly she may love Jacob but I think that she will come to realize that it's more like a brother not a lover.
