My name is Michael and I "heart" Joseph Morelli. I also love to read. I actually have to limit the time I spend each day reading. I guess you are suppose to do other stuff like sleep but I am not sure why. Please take a moment to tell everyone about you.

Hello, I'm Sarah. My mother and aunt introduced me to Stephanie several years ago. On the first read I was only so-so. When I came back to the series about a year later, a book wouldn't even last me a day. Now every year I anxiously await the next one and try to be the first at the library.

I love to read. I do a little teaching (just my day job, really). I have some other hobbies, but 9 times out of 10 I will choose to read when I have a spare minute.

I am looking forward to this group :)

Welcome Shazzy. I love your name. I meet Steaphanie and crew right before hard eight came out. A friend of mine gave me the first 2 books for Christmas which I read I stayed up all night to read the next day I went to the bookstore and bought 3-7. I wait and wait for the new books to come out. I introduced my cousin, sisters and so many good friends to the series. I even had a biyfriend that read them amd liked them.

I knew I was going to have a long and meaningful relationship with Stephanie Plum after Morelli left her handcuffed to her own shower rod. The way Ranger bailed her out sealed the deal. I know whenever a new Plum comes out I'm guaranteed quality entertainment, with lots of laugh-out-loud moments. Can't wait to see what you all have to say about the series.
And I don't just read them and shelve them, I lend my copies out to friends who end up hooked liked me.

I've enjoyed reading your comments. Michael (who is my cousin) introduced me to Stephanie Plum after I had my second child. I love the books. They make me laugh and that is very important right now. I think that Janet is a very talented writer. I am a big Morelli fan. I like Ranger as the sexy good friend but Morelli is the guy to keep. I also an also a big reader.

I'm Alicia & I worked at a bookstore a few years ago. So many people would come in for Janet Evanovich's books & whenever I asked someone how they liked the series they would just start laughing before they even got a chance to tell me about them. I knew I had to check them out so I started with To The Nines and I was hooked after reading the first chapter! Now I'm the one that starts laughing before I get a chance to tell someone about them.

I have just purchased Nine and Ten. That will catch me up. I will read To The Nines this week.

Who would think that a series about a "Bounty Hunter" in Jersey whould be so addictive? Or so much sheer fun.

I love To the nines and 10 Big Ones. But to be honest I love them all. My very very very favorite so far is Hot six.

I have just started To The Nines. I have read the between the numbers books and while they have been fun they are not quite as fun as the Numbers.

But Diesel is hot. So that makes up for a lot.

My name is Tera and I have been reading Stephanie since about 1997. I am as equally confused by Morelli and Ranger as Steph, but I sure do love Bob. I just got done listening to several of her books on CD and there are so many previous characters that definitely evolved into the ones we see in the current Plum series. Always awaiting the next one!

Shazzy, the audio Plums are so worth the time! If you can, get the unabridged ones. Grandma Mazur is especially good aloud:)

I just found out that my library has the 1st 4 on tape. So I am going to get them and listen to them beofre Fearless 14 comes out

Hi all, My names Keely. Shazzy invited me to the group. My best friend Andrea introduced me to the Stephanie Plum series. I love them!!! Who can't love a "real" woman who looks scary in the morning yet still manages to attract two of the hottest men on earth. And well, her family makes my family look good. I would love to have Grandma Mazur in my life though, how fun!!!
I have the "hots" for Ranger. But, there is no doubt that Joe should be the "keeper". I think Tank is also a very interesting guy.

Hi Keely-- I think you hit on two of the most powerful attractions in the Plum series (aside from Ranger and Morelli) -- her family makes the rest of us look closer to normal and although her life is chaos and her looks aren't perfect, she's got it going on. She's not in control of the direction things are going in, but still...

Wait.....there is something more going on beside Ranger and Morelli. Maybe I will have to pay more attention. lol.

Hello All! My Name is Cindy and I am currently going through the Plum Series (On "Ten Big Ones" right now).

I'm a big NASCAR fan and saw they were advertising and mentioning MOTOR MOUTH in a site I was on (Can't recall which). I got curious and picked up the book. Well soon after i needed to read Metro Girl. Not only was it about NASCAR it's also about my home town! Can't go wrong there.

I had heard about the Plum series and it did take me a while to finally pick one up, but since then (About 2 weeks now) i can't stop reading them. I'm reading them faster than the library can supply them. Literally a book a day! I'm hooked!! Anyway I should be done in about a week and just intime for the new book.

Ok i've rambled enough as you can see i'm happy i'm not alone in this addiction! :)

Hi! I'm Robyn and Shazzy brought me into this group. My 50+ year old friend Jan got me *hoooked* on Janet Evanovich, bringing me in all the books she owned and then I systematically exhausted the library. I think I have read all of her books, maybe 1-3 have somehow slipped by but... dunno about that!

I think I need to start re-reading them. I'm a fast reader so sometimes everything doesn't always sink in. I see your quotes and know I need to re-read. Stephanie Plum is just too cool! I always want to be the super cool heroine.

BTW I love Sue Grafton! It's a different style for sure. She tends to release a new book every October and my mom ends up getting it for my birthday. Writing a series of 26 books has to be exhausting. I silently hope nothing happens to her or she just loses her enthusiasm to finish.

Oh and yes I'm wordy, sorry! Morelli or Ranger... Shouldn't have to choose, ha!!

I like both Morelli and Ranger and think SP should go for a threesome. My favorite book is #3, and and I love grandma.

Hello, I'm Ranata, a native San Franciscan and although I've just been invited to this group, I have yet to read anything from Janet Evanovich. I read the descriptions and a summary so I think I'll pick them up sooner or later. I have the first one in my TBR shelves so we'll see when I will get around to them. Right now I'm in a supernatural mood so I'm into vamps and the sort but I'll check this Stephanie Plum out!
