I have not read any P.D. James yet either. I do have Death Comes to Pemberley sitting on my shelf. Maybe I'll go pull it out for my TBR ^-^

For this I have BA Paris’s new book on pre order and it come out in March so this will be brand new for me!
Awesome Keriann! I read Behind Closed Doors, but I'm struggling through The Breakdown. In fact, I have it sitting right next to me and I haven't touched it in a while. I think it's the base of the subject matter that bothers me. I look forward to hearing what you think about the new one ^-^
I've picked up a couple Margret Millar based on some Steve Donoghue recommendations. Never read her. Maybe I'll go down that road with her.

New author to you is perfect for this category!

For this challenge, I shall be reading an author who is new to me: The Dante Club by Matthew Pearl.
I have this one on my physical shelf. It has been there unread for a while I'm embarrassed to say. Maybe your review will encourage me to finally pick it up.
I will read a James Bond book, which I have never read before. I watched a plenty of Bond Movies though.
So, this will a" new medium" for me.
I have read all Hamish Macbeth mysteries, by M.C. Beaton, and tomorrow a new one (# 33) is coming out. I can't wait to read it:Death of an Honest Man.

I’m also doing Middle Grade March so I decided to read “Absolutely Truly (Pumpkin Falls Mystery #1)” by Heather Vogel Frederick for this challenge. I picked it up on a whim and really loved it. My review is on here. The mystery aspect could have been better but I love the characters, so I gave it four stars.

Hi Di! I finished Casino Royale but unfortunately I only liked the plot. I did not like the writing style and I did not feel much for the characters.
I think I prefer the movies when it comes to Bond ;)

Hi Berna! Unfortunately I found the same after I read Casino Royale. In fact, I hated being in James Bond's mind! That completely ruined it for me ^-^

The book I read for this challenge is not a new release, but it is a new author to me. Plus I picked up a brand new copy at Dollar General in February. Since I rarely buy brand new books, this is a good pick for me. The book was Defending Jacob by William Landay. It was a library book club pick from a few years ago that I never read, but always intended to.
The story was very compelling, but I didn't particularly like or respect the main characters who seemed a bit "morally gray" to me. Still, everything worked together to make a fascinating story.

I finished The Other Side of Goodbye by Ben Follows which was published in January back on Sunday to complete this challenge. You can read my review at http://world-of-sleuths.blogspot.com/....
I read Murder Is Bad Manners because it's the start of a new-to-me series and I had never read anything by Robin Stevens before.
