I absolutely LOVED this book! I inhaled it way faster than I thought I would. Also, Casey is so so so like me and I adore her for her stubborn nature and refusal to comply with other people's expectations of her. I just adore her. The insight into the immigrant experience and the commentary on race and class was fabulous. All around, a new favorite book for me!
