That's fun!

But why aren't they in the Metal Archive?

Hubbardston Nonesuch (betweencoasts) | 2 comments Not too familiar with that site. Could be metal purists are to blame? SGM and related projects are kinda all over the place musically. I know some metal fans are rather keen on consistency.

A fun sidenote: the band's creators claim their name comes from a group of dadaists and futurists called the Sleepytime Gorilla Press. The only references to this group come from interviews with the band.

This band also introduced me to the writings of Kenneth Patchen. They's good people.

Art Rock is cool though. [also, Metal Archive has their peculiarities ; they even include Stryper and Def Leppard!]
