it's Stephen ChboskyI'm gonna ask him how he made the Charlie character..
I'll thousands of thanks for the feel he gave me after reading his book.. I found myself in that book..
I would like to spend time with Harry Dolan author of The Last Dead GirlI have so much to ask him, so much to learn and so much to know ..... In fact I did tweet him and he replied ^_^
Really?! That's so cool. I have contacted a few authors like that. Jennifer L Armentrout author of the Lux books
It'd be either Khaled Hosseini or John Green. I admire both of them and their works equally. If it is Khaled Hosseini, then I believe, just hearing his thoughts will be enough to make it one of the bst days of my life. I love hearing stories and this person is a truly gifted story-teller.
If it is John Green, I've got tons of questions for him! Questions about his works, his life (specifically his life as a teenager), his vlog and so many things.
Only if this ever happens!! *sigh*
Dean Koontz. He is an incredible author, has a great sense of humor, and he is a dog lover. What more could one ask for?Jool
Maya Angelou! Although I’d have to tinker away at building a time machine because of her recent death. She was a very poetic author and reminded me of one of those people who drops profound nuggets of wisdom in conversation and writing as if they were cheap little candies. She was someone whose presence had magnitude but in a very positive way.

Good choice! I thoroughly enjoyed The Kite Runner.
I have two. Veronica Blade and Jennifer L. Armentrout, they're my favorite authors. I would love to just spend a day with them!
Oscar Wilde, Tom Wolfe, Voltaire or Shakespeare either would do! I love them all. They had their way with words that was utterly beautiful!Oscar and Wolfe also because they were great human beings, very opinionated and explicitly intellectual. I would've loved to have a conversation with them!
Voltaire and Shakespeare because I love literature and they had a charm about their works that was very inspiring!
Scott Lynch, because I want to know what its like being chronically depressed and still managing to find the willpower to create such intricacy and depth in his books.
Rick Riordan, because I have so many questions about PJO and HOH, and he's my favorite author. I love him!
it would be Tracy Chevalier. I have read all of her books because I love historical fiction. I would especially want to discuss Remarkable Creatures, my favorite of her books.
Gillian Flynn...I would love to know what inspired her to create these dark, dysfunctional women that make up the main characters of her books
J.K. RowlingTwo authors at the top of my list are Sidney Sheldon and Michael Crichton, Unfortunately, they already passed away.
Well, either J.K Rowling (!!!!), Steinbeck (if he were alive) or Fitzgerald (again with the "alive" thing)
I would love to spend a day with Diana Gabaldon, and see her inspirations. The "Outlander" novels are just so descriptive and detailed! Visiting Khaled Hosseini would be an awesome day too! :)
Oscar Wilde, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Agatha Christie, Ayn Rand. These come to mind.1st and last would be most interesting to have a conversation with. To ask, how could they write such awesome literature, while being betrayed/ betraying your closest friends and lovers? Also, to Wilde-how could he get it all and lose by sheer greed/ stupidity? But, much before that to ask Wilde, how could he achieve such perfection in his book? I have yet to read an author, especially the plays, who could keep you laughing from beginning to the end! Ayn Rand, also to ask as to what gave her the imagination and that solid grip on the language?
Middle 2-I simply adore their works, having read all of Doyle and most of Christie. It would be fascinating to spend time with them.
Rowling J K Gillian Flynn Agatha Christie Stephanie Meyers Khaled Hosseini Erich SegalTo name a few.
Wow, this question is like offering a dieter an entire Chnese buffet. If I can have a dead author, then it would be Shelby Foote. Wait. It might be Poe.
If it has to be a living author, then it would be Charles Frazier.
John Green, no question. The man is literally awe-inspiring.
Although...they say "never meet your heroes", but I have a feeling that meeting John Green would be - oh...I can't even. It would be one of the most meaningful, treasured experiences I've had in my life.
If for whatever reason Mr. Green is unavailable (he does have two kids, and he's working on another book, apparently), then AS King. She just seems like a genuine, "no-excuses" kind of person, and I can get with that. :)

Sweet!
Maggie Stiefvater. I love reading her social media posts. She is so imaginative with both her writing and art.
Either Salman Rushdie or Margaret Atwood. Atwood is my female science-fiction hero, and Rushdie has led a pretty insane life.
Can it be a dead author? J.R.R Tolkien. He is such a fascinating man, a genius in his own way. I'd love to know what was going on in that brain of his and discover more about the elvish language
Rick Riordan so I can smack him in the face in honor of the fangirls who died when he finished the series and plunged Percy and Annabeth into Tarturus. Of course I'll ask him questions too
I would want to spend a day with William Shakespeare, because he is one of my favorite playwrights and to talk to him about his works, how he thinks the theatre has changed since his time, and about how he feels know that people are still performing his plays and discussing them?
Christopher Moore, he is an amazing author and I feel like he would be an awesome person to talk to.
Julie Kagawa because I love all her books and she's one of my favorite authors. I would love to talk with her about where she gets her ideas from and how she creates these great settings in her books.
Abbi Glines - I just love her romance novels. Her books have so much substance and I would love to talk with her about how she gets her characters developed cause they are all so different :)
I would spend my day with Katy Evans, simply because I just admire the raw emotions she pours into her writing, I've cried reading her books.
Colleen Hoover because not only is she an amazing writing, but she's just an exceptional human being. I follow her on any social media I can, and she is so wonderful to her fans and extremely funny.
