I hope you will consider this book: I Once Was Lost, But Now I’m Found, is a narrative of the rescue of 124 dogs from the Olympic Animal Sanctuary, a hoarding situation in Forks, Washington. The rescue took several years and included small town political corruption, intimidation, protests, assault, lawsuits, and an attempt by the owner to run away with the dogs jammed into a semi truck. It was the largest dog rescue in the US to be carried out without support of local government.

The book is written for people who are not aware of the OAS rescue and who have an interest in rescue issues. The biography of one dog, Daisy, is used as vehicle for informing readers about hoarders, failed rescues, law enforcement issues, trainers and behaviorists, and actions people can take when they become aware of abuse or neglect. The book is heavily illustrated with photos from the police file and other sources.

Focusing on college students and those around them but dealing with issues that cross the lifespan, readers from young adult all the way up will all enjoy this book and find something in one of the characters that sounds a little bit like them.

My book is adult science-fantasy. It does have romance in it, but it's not primarily romance as a genre. The protagonists are brother/sister. The romance aspect gets much stronger in Book Two and beyond, but you still might like it.

I've just published a thriller in which the Paris catacombs are being used for terror attacks. It draws on the Zeitgeist of political irresponsibility and impunity. The story aims to provide a twisted adventure through contemporary politics and fake news, but also to take readers on a stroll through Paris’ less well-known spaces. Lots of anecdotes and legends about the city, where I've lived for many years now.
