The Montgomery Family:
A prominent "surgeon to the stars", Charles built the famous Murder House in 1922 for his wife Nora Montgomery. Although quite successful in the beginning, it was apparent that he began to lose business. He developed a gruesome "Frankenstein Complex", wherein he stitched the assorted body parts of animals together. He also became addicted to the drug ether.
Unable to pay bills with her husband being less focused in work, Nora became frustrated with her husband's behavior and took matters into her own hands. She organized illegal abortions for her husband to perform in the house's basement. Young women flocked to the Montgomery house for the procedure. In time, Nora's plan fell apart because one patient "couldn't keep her mouth shut" and told her boyfriend what happened.
Pursuing revenge, the girl's boyfriend kidnaps the Montgomery's son, Thaddeus, and dismembers him. The remains are later brought to Charles by the police in an evidence box.
Charles, having fully lost his sanity, put his skills to the ultimate test: he attempted to sew his son back together. Nora caught him in the basement and was horrified by what he'd done to Thaddeus. Charles was successful in bringing their son back to life, claiming he used the heart of "one of their girls." Charles' creation was a grotesque, demonic creature (the Infantata) that attempted to suck Nora's blood when hungry. Distraught by what their son has become, Nora shot Charles in the head then turns the gun on herself.

Elizabeth Short:
In 1947, while in Los Angeles, she visited a dentist, Dr. David Curran, who worked from his home, the "Murder House". Short on money, Elizabeth seduced Curran in exchange for dental work at no cost. Curran puts her under nitrous and raped her. Once finished Curran took off the nitrous mask and attempted to wake Elizabeth, but she fatally overdosed during the rape. Panicking, Curran dragged Elizabeth's body to his basement where he is confronted by Charles Montgomery's ghost. Claiming to be a world renowned surgeon, Charles offered to assist Curran with Elizabeth's body.
Curran discovered that the insane surgeon had only made his predicament worse by mutilating Elizabeth's body by bisecting it at the waist and carving a Chelsea smile. Charles proclaimed that it was his duty as a surgeon and that Curran would find Elizabeth now to be more "portable". At some point Curran, presumably, droped her body off in a vacant lot in the Leimert Park district of Los Angeles. Her remains were discovered by a woman and her daughter.

The Baxter's:
Lorraine was a home wife, who caught her husband in the act with her best friend Celia. Enraged, she chopped her husband up into tiny pieces, then picked his body parts in jars in the basement before murdering her best friend Celia on Halloween night. She then comitted suicide after Celia and her husbands ghost haunted her.

Troy and Bryan:
In 1978, the twins broke into the Murder House, which was abandoned at the time. Troy and Bryan proceeded to demolish the house with baseball bats, before finally entering the basement, where they find jars with body parts, which scared the twins. They attempted to leave but their throats were slit open by Thadeas (The Infantata)before they could escape.

Moira:
It is claimed that to women she appears as an elderly lady with one working eye (the other is gray and clouded) and a sensible uniform dress but to men she appears as a beautiful, unscathed young woman with a short skirt and stockings. According to Moira, this is because women's intuition gives them insight on the true nature of people, whereas men see only what they desire - however, if the man can resist the compulsion to see her as a sexual object, they too will see her as who she is.

Moira was working as a cleaning lady at the Murder house when she met her untimely demise. She had been fixing one of the beds, when her employers husband came in, drunk, and attempted to rape her but his wife caught them, and in a rage, she shot Moira in the eye.

Chad And Patrick Daniels:
Chad and Patrick wre lovers back in the day, until one day, a strange man in a Rubber Suit on Halloween night drowned Chad in the sink, which knocked him out but didn't kill him. Upon seeing Chad getting drowned and presuming he was dead, Patrick attacked the man in the rubber suit before getting beaten to death.
The man in the rubber suit dragged the bodies to the basement, where chad wakes up and the man in the rubber suit shoots patrick, then chad, placing the gun in Chad's hand, making it look like a murder/suicide.

Lee and Sasha Carpenter:
Lee was alwys a loner, always bullied. One day he came to a breaking point after he was bullied about his sexuality, and he hung himself from the chandlier using the cord to his sisters flat iron. Sasha was devastated by her brothers death, blaming his actions o the people who bullied him, so one late summer evening she invited them over, planning to end their lives. Things went horribly wrong when Sasha was pushed down the basement stairs by one of the bullies, and her head cracked right down the middle, killing Sasha.

Rose Parker:
Rosa Parkers died on May 4th from the illness cholera. She had been pregnant with ehr third child when she became ill, drinking from her husbands water. Believing she had been cursed by one of the spirits in the house, her husband took her children and moved out, leaving her alone and ill in the house to die, which she did only months later.
