This may have turned into one of my favorite books. One of the top reasons is because it is seemingly real. There is no other way I can depict the book other than real. The vulgarity and depth given within each story made it to a point teeth-clenching and sickening which is a sign that he is doing something right. As gross as we may feel as a reader and cannot believe that this is written, we also shouldn't believe that these things can happen, which is true. I value this book a lot because it paints you a picture of lives that we see on tv and say to ourselves "oh this never happens." or "this isn't real."

(Some English teacher must have told his class to post a review on Goodreads, because three of them have suddenly appeared here.
