Here is my advice. The easiest way to not experience a break up is not to get in a relationship in the first place, because it's quite obvious that at this age they aren't going to last.

My Advice. Love Is something you need to expereince. Some people find true love young, others do not. If you broke up, Then It wasnt true Love, Love Doesnt just stop. It grows and grows, It doesnt have to be love at first sight. But, You may think you have true Pure, innocent Love, Many many times. No Brendan. Absolutly Not, Just because one is young doesnt make it Obvious it wont Last. If that was the Case.. Why bother?.. Everyone is young, We.dont live Long... Not at all.... Love can be found at any age, The seceret is to keep fighting..If ome chooses not to keepp on, You will notoce, sometime eventually, that it truly wasnt Love...

Could be worse. His girlfriend could've been kidnapped by a malevolent fae and almost turned into a horse. (That happened in a book I just finished the other day, which is where I got the idea. The boy in question also was forced to let the girl go despite not wanting to.)
