Buddy Read starts 19th February.

Charlie (charlieridley) | 5751 comments I may have started listening to this a tad early on the commute today. I alwasy say I don't like audio books (because most of the one's I've tried have been awful) but this is great. The narrator does all the voices for different characters, it reminds me of my dad telling me stories as a kid.

Chris Haught (haughtc) | 2348 comments I should start on time. I'm hoping that this will help ease me out of my reading slump.

Charlie (charlieridley) | 5751 comments I hope so Chris! I hate feeling slumpy, last year it happpened three times and lasted over a month each time. I kept picking up books, reading a few pages and putting them down. This is light and fun so hopefully it'll do the trick.

Gary Sundell | 105 comments I love the Witch books. Granny Weatherwax is one of my all time favorite characters. I read this book fairly recently. My current Discworld reads are Pyramids and Guards Guards.

Granny Weatherwax us hilarious, I'm really enjoying her banter.

Gary Sundell | 105 comments I laugh everytime she tries to ride her broom. I have always mentally thought of her as a thinner and grumpier version of Witch Hazel from the Looney Tunes cartoons.

Charlie (charlieridley) | 5751 comments I'm nearly finished this, it's fantastic! It's a pretty nonsense read but in the best way.

The new king is a pillock, he needs a good slap. I love the witches, particularly Nanny O, she's a fiesty one. I really want (view spoiler)

I love that this book isn't all about the list king reclaiming his kingdom. He's barely in it in fact, the story focuses on the other players and I really like that.

Glad you're enjoying it! I really liked this one too. The witches are dead funny.

Pillock 😂

Charlie (charlieridley) | 5751 comments I'm finished! The audio was excellent, it really made the story come alive. FC W and Nanny O really made this story, I'm definitely going to read more of the Witches books.

I loved Equal Rights. I still can't decide which books are my favourite though, Witches or Death. Mort is my fave overall so far.
