Yep, I think Sarah would have died if Mrs. Ellsworth hadn't stopped him.

Ditto. I don't think Sarah would've been able to fight him off for long. And I loved that Mrs. Elworth and her frying pan came to the rescue.

She was completely overpowered, though she gave him a good fight. Go Mrs. Elsworth!!!

Any other book it would've been Frank to the rescue...which is what makes it that much better that it was Mrs. Ellworth instead. And she was prepared to hit him again to keep him from regaining consciousness before the police arrived. lol
