Amanda Hawkins Just starting this up so we can comment when we finish.

Rosa One of my fave books on 2017. I loved the ending as it felt very satisfying.

Fatimah I enjoyed this book very much! Very intriguing.

Gretchen Brown Yes, I agree that it was a very satisfying ending. Wasn't sure till the end if it was actually going to be that way though.

John E Zalewski This was terrifying yet I couldn't stop reading, and I'm glad I didn't, perfect ending!!!

Emily I wasn't really sure how'd id feel about this book but i'm REALLY super glad I did read it. Was crazy and I think one of the first books in a while to actually peak my anxiety levels lol!

Rebekah I absolutely loved this book. I was a little anxious since some of the comments said the abuse was pretty disturbing but it wasn't bad at all. When I got to the ending I definitely felt satisfied lol.

Shayla Boozy One of the best books I've ever read.

Rebecca Brewer Really good book, easy read

Alyssa Aquino Awesome writing, def glad I read this book. In my mind, not sure why lol, but I casted the male character as James McAvoy.

Hannah Strick I LOVED THIS! Took me two evenings to read which is very quick for me! Don't you hate his character?! He was the epitome of evil. Like others, I agree she gave in too much. Was pleased that Millie had a brain and she wasn't just the squishy fluff piece. Was a bit frustrated with Grace but I can't say what I would have done in that position!

Goodreads user Is this group still alive so to speak

Dina This is by far one of my top 3 favorite books!!....really made me think who comes up with stories like this.....I want to read more crazy, endge of your seat, thrillers

Angela This is one of my favorite books of all time. I gave it to several friends and only told them "OMG, the ending." Each one returned it to me and replied something like, "OMG, the last line."

Some of the best writing ever.

Chelsea I wish I enjoyed this book more but it felt so unrealistic I just could not get into it. It was ok, but definitely not a favorite of mine.

Donna Warner It was really triggering for me because of the abuse but the writing is good. If you have PTSD it might not be the book for you but if you don't, it can be a good book.

Deanna One of my favorite books! It seems to be a love it or hate it kind of book. I loved it but can understand why others may not feel the same way.

Anshi At first it was a bit anxiety giving but the ending made it all worth it and it was so satisfying.

Angel The simple conversation at the end just made this whole book so much better.

MANDY I just finished it and OH MY GOSH!! So good!! I'm curious though, have any of you read anything else by the author? And if so, are they as captivating as this one??

I loved Jack's character and how he so easily manipulated Grace and her freinds.

Hated the ending. No way could even a casual whiskey drinker not taste (or see) 16 ground up sleeping pills in his drink.

In reality he would have caught her when she tried this and locked her in the red room permanently with only whiskey to drink until she slowly died.

That would have been a satisfying more realistic ending.
