Updated top postMy reviews are suffering, I've got a really bad migraine that won't go away 😞 I will have to wait til that goes away to review. Bleh.
I’m not sure if this one counts as a standalone or not. All the other books in the series are very short prequels . Do those count or is this a standalone? Thank you!
It’ll count as a part of the series as it’s listed in a series list on goodreads. Soon as I clicked on it it said The returned (The returned #1)
Heart attack moment I went to edit your points and hit the delete button, almost lost everything. Thank god for pop ups asking if I’m sure I want to delete 😂
Christina wrote: "Heart attack moment I went to edit your points and hit the delete button, almost lost everything. Thank god for pop ups asking if I’m sure I want to delete 😂"Omg!! That is super scary!! I'm glad it didn't happen! Lol! I've been writing reviews all morning/afternoon so it'll probably change again 😁
I would not have been happy 😂 like noooo don’t do this to me. I swear every time GR goes down I actually have a mini strop because what am I supposed to do with my life when all I do is read 😂
Christina wrote: "Heart attack moment I went to edit your points and hit the delete button, almost lost everything. Thank god for pop ups asking if I’m sure I want to delete 😂"Oh no!! That sounds like something I’d do! Lol. I agree about Goodreads, I even use it more than Facebook these days. Reading is my favorite hobby and main way to distract myself when I’m in pain or I can’t sleep.

Tiffany I am the same way! I also try to avoid Facebook when I can because I get sucked down that rabbit hole and don't even realize how much time has gone by and it leaves me feeling like I wasted too much time!
I’m trying to cut down my Facebook time too; but it’s hard when all your mates live 200 odd miles away 😔
Christina wrote: "I’m trying to cut down my Facebook time too; but it’s hard when all your mates live 200 odd miles away 😔"Tell them to start reading and join Goodreads lol! But I know what you mean. I honestly just try to text the people I care most about and I use the free Line app for intl friends.
It’s the same here Tiffany. I’ve tried getting so many people into goodreads, including my little sister because they’re avid readers and it really would help them discover so many more new books, but it doesn’t seem to happen. Hence why I’ve now started a ‘bookstagram’ where I’ll post the popular quotes as highlighted on my kindle app from whatever book I’m currently reading, with a link to my goodreads in the bio. 200 odd followers but hasn’t led to anyone else joining here so far :-/
Christina wrote: "It’s the same here Tiffany. And my reviews automatically post in my Facebook and Twitter newsfeeds. I also share Facebook posts from authors that I’ve gotten to know through reviewing their work and I make those posts completely public (so if someone who isn’t on my friend list looks at my page, all they’ll see is my wedding picture and that I love to read lol). And, I promote authors randomly, so I often treat Facebook as an extension of Goodreads.
Haha I feel like I’ve suddenly picked up in the last week or so ... but now I’m kinda skint til the end of the week so no new books for me 😞
I’m swimming in books from Netgalley. I can send you a 2 month free trial for Scribd, if that would help.
It’s fine. I’ve only got 4 days til payday, and I’m out all day tomorrow as it’s my grandads funeral so I’m sure I can stretch this one, and my next one (I always put the money for my next book in a separate account) until Thursday x
