Gender roles are defined in our story twisted because they make it to were the men are the stronger species and the women are weaker. Tyler the Chip were arm fighting in front of everyone to prove who's stronger and ended up pushing Bethany away making her cut her foot. Or when Tyler described his dad and the car when he picked him up for school.
