State of Wonder by Ann Patchett- I gave it 3 stars but expected a lot more. It was not that interesting to me. This was my first book by this award-winning author.
My least favorite books from this season were Artemis and, especially, Radio Silence. I was also disappointed in The Eyre Affair. I expected to like it a lot more than I did.
Angels' Blood was wonderfully written, but I hated the hero so much that it became quite a slog to get through. It was still better than Three Weeks to Wed, though, where I hated both the hero and heroine with my whole heart.I also really disliked Horrorstör, to the point where I would've abandoned it if it hadn't been a Christmas present, and What I Did For a Duke.
I only had one 1-star book....yay.it was: Her Last Whisper.
Thankfully, it was a short book.
Jayme(the ghost reader) wrote: "I only had one 1 star book The Thirteenth Tale, I was not a fan and I thought the story dragged on."
I read that one a while ago and didn't like that one either.
Two one-stars this seasonBy far my least favorite would be Knight of a Trillion Stars
My second was Truly, Madly, Deeply
