Since it is March now, I hope most of you who planned to read along have read TGG. I am new to the discussion world and I often ain't a reader who sees every aspect a book shows, but one thing I want to talk about it the ending. So stop reading this topic if you haven't read the book yet!

What did you guys think of the ending? I didn't know anything about what kind of book this was but I didn't expect it to be such a tragedy. I can't imagine how Nick must have felt the time Gatsby died and Daisy just fled away with Tom. And honestly how can Tom live with himself?

I did not see the ending coming as well! It’s so sad and frustrating at the same time.

I’d read the book before but I was still surprised about how angry both Daisy and Tom made me. They are equally terrible to me
