Not being an expert on the Aeneid, my favorite parts are the discussions of poets and prescience, the shifting timeline existing all at once, the shifting states of characters' existences--a fascinating picture of reality as fiction as reality. Does what we or others "know" make it happen? Or do we know it because it will happen? To add to the grounding in "reality," she also says that no one, not even poets, can know everything or get everything right.
