Dear Abdul,I'm sure a lot would like to Debate but i don't know....
i thinks its illegal to do that (it is kinda political and controversial) so i think we should approve the discussion by asking the mods aka Aakash(as hes usually online)
I second Abdul we should make our presence at least at some platform as this is a matter concerning each and every one of us for the sake of humanity and also we(muslims) being from the same ummahPs. Bilal its been 20 hours since akash' post can you notify Akash r any other mod?
its not right platform dear, struggles on social media is like sending paper ship in Syria... Only impact we can make is through politics , enforcing our institutions to say something at international level. but sadly we are so corrupt , no one listens to us.

If you guys want to talk about it you should make a reditt thread or u can also use whatsapp
But we’ve had problems like in the last 3 years ive been here
Plus alot of the people on Pakistani readers aren’t really muslims or they might side with what is currently goin on in syria
So i think we ahould go onto another platform to talk about it
Or we can make a group for the people who want to participate in it eh?
hi everyone, I hope you all are doing well.
I would like to help you guys out and clear out few things about the group.
@Abdul, you are to point out yet another tragedy in muslim world that has been unfolding in Syria for last 6+ years, though it is by no means is an anomaly rather part of series that has engulfed muslim countries, particularly the middle east.
It is indeed very important to have discussion about it, this might have an immediate effect on the suffrage of people in Syria but this mere actively itself has numerous benefits and is indeed the need of time; to discuss and better understand the causes that has led to such misery/suffering with no end in sight.
This kind of discussion are not considered irrelevant on this group and infact we have a whole section dedicated to debates/discussions. I am not sure why there is an impression that discussions are shunned on this group. Discussion are integral part of any literary group.
However, we do exercise caution in certain controversial topics which are highly sensitive and polarizing. In such discussion, people get carried away and instead of presenting objective arguments resort to personal attacks on the members with opposing views. this has happened few times in past.
This why it is recommended that discussions on sensitive issues be avoided in the general/open threads like "Hey Guys" and instead they should be carried out in a separate thread in "Discussions/Debates" this way they are easy to manage in case some member stir some trouble by personal attacks or using abusive language
So if you guys are interested in a discussion on Syria or any other sensitive political topic, you are most welcome to start a new thread in the "Debates or Discussion" section or move this thread to that section. I would like to be part of discussion if I could spare time.
In the end, I would like to say a few bits about the conflict in Syria, as I used to follow it rather closely. It is a highly complex issue with so many regional and international players and stake holders, The origins of this conflict goes back centuries, if you want understand this conflict better you'll have get yourself acquainted with political history, ethnic & religious demographics, Saudi-Iran rivalry and geopolitics of the entire region. This conflict in syria isn't an isolated event it's origin and causes deeply intertwined with the rest of the middle east. Sadly there is no simple solution to it.
