Hi Aussie Readers,

Here's our first round of book giveaways for you as a replacement to the Goodreads giveaways - it's a WIP so we'll see how it goes for a couple of months and welcome any feedback.

Here's our first batch of books:

Little Gods - One we're really excited by, a beautiful Australian coming of age novel from Jenny Ackland about the mess of family life and innocence lost, with comparisons to Jasper Jones, Seven Little Australians & Cloudstreet.

The Illumination of Ursula Flight - this is a charming, droll (and just a little bit bawdy) picaresque tale of one woman's coming of age both on and off the stage in seventeenth-century England.

Lovesome - from the award winning musician Sally Seltmann comes her tender, funny and romantic debut Lovesome, an offbeat and beguiling story of finding your own happiness.

Being an avid Aussie author fan I have to say that Little Gods by Jenny Ackland has also grabbed my attention.

How exciting - I thought Sally Seltmann had been a bit quiet lately! Maybe this is why. I’m keen to read her debut, but The Jade Lily is also right up my alley.

A great idea, I've requested a few out of that batch of excellent titles!

I was lucky enough to receive a copy of The Jade Lily when I won a copy of The Midsummer Garden earlier this year! :)

I love the sound of Eleanor's Secret, Little Gods and The Illumination of Ursula Flight especially. :)
