Books, Blogs, Authors and More discussion

Hi there. Book Lit contacted a writing buddy of mine and said her book had been chosen to be picked up by them, reformatted and marketed. I think I have heard of them before, but now can't find anything on the internet about them. Anyone have info? Sounded like a scam based on what she was told.
