From the cover . . .
She woke up in a hospital room, barely able to remember her own name. What secrets lay hidden within Susan Thorton's mind? What terrible accident brought her here? And who were the four shadowy strangers - waiting, like death - in the darkened corridors? One by one, Susan unlocked these mysteries. And step by step, she approached the torment of her past - a single night of violence, waged by four young men in The House of Thunder.

A story set in 1980, The House of Thunder was originally published in 1982 under the pseudonym Leigh Nichols.

Tommye. Schoenberger (tommyenv) | 28 comments I got a copy of house of Thunder several months ago and still haven’t read it so it’s about time. I will in April.
Yesterday I found a copy of Funhouse in the Goodwill store for 99 cents- I have never read that one either because I hadn’t found it at the library nor anywhere else even looked on Amazon a couple times, my son had asked for it, so I finally get to read that too!

Nice. We can always feature The Funhouse as a Mini-Group Read. I'd be willing to re-read The Funhouse since it's been a while. We just need to find at least one more person interested and decide on a start date & The Funhouse can be featured for one month.

"The Funhouse" was pretty interesting as well.

Mary (broomemarygmailcom) | 377 comments I am excited to read this. I know that I have read it before but don't remember it at all. So many things are like that nowadays. :-(

I did find this article by Koontz and I think others might enjoy By the end I was laughing out loud. Man, he can be so funny.

I didn't get around to re-reading The House of Thunder in April. It's been a busy month for me as I just changed my employment situation.

Charissa Wilkinson (lilmizflashythang) | 271 comments Hopefully for the better Dustin. Remember, reading is supposed to be fun, regardless of what the book snobs say.

Thomas | 19 comments I have just started this. Excited to read some older Koontz again, because the last few years I have only read his newer books. Really liking this story so far. I once read somewhere that Koontz rewrote many of his older books before releasing them again under his own name. Is this true? Does anyone know if this is the case with The House of Thunder? Thanks! :-)
