When citing a book using the "add book/author" feature, please link to the title rather than the cover image, or include both. Many of our members check in via mobile devices, and some have visual perception issues, so that a cover image does not help much in those cases. Thank you very much for your attention.

I really appreciate this policy and thank you, John, for reminding everyone. It makes a big difference.
I almost exclusively use a phone for internet these days, so the cover-only frustrates me personally. At other groups, I have to remind myself that I'm not a moderator, so not my place to remind people.
I love this policy and I hope people actually follow it. Some mods refuse to even suggest this, let alone make it a policy. When I see a comment that includes only the book cover I just skip it.
On the other hand, I like to thank the people that make the effort to both post a link and a cover image. I like to see the image also, but admit I'm too lazy to post both...
Thanks, John! Even on my large desktop monitor, the covers are rather small and difficult to read; the title links are so much easier.
Thank you. I recently realized how helpful this is when I looked at something in another group where cover is posted and rarely anything else.
I'll clue you guys in on something: at others groups I have been tempted to say something, until realizing it's not my job/place.

As far as I'm concerned it should be a site-wide policy in order to be accessible and inclusive for everyone.

Hippie Chick wrote: "I usually do both the cover and the link. I think that it just looks nicer."I agree and I usually do cover and link in other groups and in the Genre discussions here but in Current Reads I usually just do link.
As someone who is now experiencing vision problems, it's most frustrating to be unable to read tiny print that I can't enlarge or worse, light print in gray-scale, or light colors, that I can't adjust. Print magazines are the worst for this. So, I appreciate the new policy of the link with the cover image. It really helps.I've always loved to read, still do, but audiobooks are a blessing!
Thanks.

Good suggestion, I also prefer to have an easy link and a readable name :)Since I'm rather new I'll try to make it a good habbit right away :)
