Mary Pat | 2186 comments Suggested break down of reading so that you can check in and let us know how you're doing. The following breakdown is purely a suggestion and is therefore not set in stone.

Rather than putting dates for each section I've done it so that it takes into account that not everybody will necessarily have the book at the same time.

Week 1: 72
Week 2: 72
Week 3: 72
Week 4: 72

That was fast! I have added you to the list of participants! Feel free to jump into the conversation! (Please remember to mark spoilers for those that are not as far along!)

Mary Pat | 2186 comments Scott, Nikki, Liz, Suki, Ted....

I know Ted finished the book but it looks like the rest of you have not had a chance to do so. Should I move it to April?

Scott Flicker | 1191 comments I started it but haven’t finished so moving to April would be great

Mary Pat | 2186 comments I have moved this thread to April!

RJ - Slayer of Trolls (hawk5391yahoocom) I finished this one a couple months ago. I don't want to post any spoilers since I know some folks are currently reading the book. I really enjoyed the first few chapters with the introductions of Louis (who for some reason I pictured in my head as Jeff Goldblum), Teela (who seems stereotypical to a modern reader) and especially the aliens who were very imaginative.

Scott Flicker | 1191 comments Finished the first quarter. Amazing how big the ring world is.

Scott Flicker | 1191 comments Finished enjoyed it and ready for the next one in may.

I tried thinking of actors to play the roles in a movie but couldn’t come up with any.

Mary Pat | 2186 comments Do folks want to continue this series or should we shelve it for now?

Scott Flicker | 1191 comments I’m ready for the next

message 13: by Suki (new) - rated it 4 stars

Suki St Charles (goodreadscomsuki_stcharles) | 78 comments I really enjoyed this book-- I love stories about alien artifacts, and Ringworld was an incredible structure. I was sorry that there was not more exploring of the world, but hopefully that comes up in the next books.

I was late with this reading because I had a lot of oral surgery done lately, and it's really interfered with my ability to read and concentrate properly while I've been healing, but I would really like to continue the series if everybody else is game.
