We continue our series read of Brian W. Aldiss's Helliconia trilogy with its second book: Heliconia Summer.

This trilogy chronicles the rise and fall of a civilization for over a thousand years as the planet progresses through its centuries-long seasons. This installment is set during high summer on the tropical continent of Campannlat. (Thank you, Wikipedia!)

I have to say that I am enjoying this one a lot better then the first one(even though by the end, I liked the first one)

It sure is a different planet though!
