Our June 2018 book is Steelheart by Brandon Sanderson.

Steelheart was the YA debut for experienced adult fantasy writer Brandon Sanderson. Part fantasy, part dystopian sci-fi, Steelheart is about when the majority of people use their superpowers for evil. With the series's last book coming out not too long ago, we're interested to see what you think about this one. Have you read it, or any of Sanderson's adult books?

I have not read anything by Sanderson before. I am nervous about reading this book. The premise does not sound very interesting to me and I am not a big fantasy or science fiction reader. I like some dystopian though, so I am willing to give the novel a try.

I've already read Steelheart before (more than once, in fact!) I remembered liking it a lot but read it again so that I could start on the second book, Firefight, which I still haven't read. Maybe having this book be the one of the month will be what gets me to finish the series!
