Just thought some might be interested in this: https://leanin.org

I am part of a Lean In Circle in my community. We meet monthly to learn knew things and have great discussion. It is an interesting group as we have 3 generations of participants which all bring different experiences and perspectives.

Allison | 2125 comments Cool, @Susan. I looked, and there aren't any in the Kingston area that are active. Looks like a couple of people have tried but they haven't taken off. Too bad.

Allison | 2125 comments I have started this now, doing both audio & paper at the same time. I have to say, while all of this information I have heard before, it sure is enlightening to see it all collected in one place. And it's a timely read for me, as Canada Reads wraps up and once again, a woman defending a woman's books (2 options this year) didn't win! Argh. Why not? Why are the stats so grim?

@Lisa posted this amazing article on another thread, written by Sharon Bala, which outlines a gender gap in Canada Reads: http://sharonbala.com/blog/2018/3/24/.... There is now a follow-up article here: http://sharonbala.com/blog/math

Both are great reads, and for me, so tied in with everything Sheryl Sandberg is stating in the first part of Lean in: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead that I've read.
