Blue Lake Academy discussion

The science lab is available for student use during the day whenever a teacher is not holding class in it.

Celaena walked into the room “Hello? Marcus are you here?” She asked hopefully. Putting her backpack down on a table, she walked into the room. The text said to meet him here, but where was he?

"Oh, hey!" Marcus was standing behind a table at the far end of the lab with a small object hidden behind his back. "I, uh, made you something." He leaned over and placed the object on the table and pushed it forward. It was a flower, made out of scraps of metal welded together, the petals made mostly of gears varying in size and shape. The stem was made from two thick wires twisted together and welded to the flower.

“Woah!” Celaena breathed in “This is....amazing! How did you do this?!” She picked it up “This is so beautiful, and you made it, for me?” Her voice cracked a little at the end, both honored and in awe of his creation.

"Yeah." His lips twitched into a small smile. It really wasn't too hard to make. The actual assembly was easy. It was finding enough gears that was a little difficult, but he'd already collected a few over time. "I'm glad you like it, cause I, uh, was wondering if you would go to the spring fling with me? I mean it would make my sister really happy if I made an effort to be part of this school, so I might as well go with someone I really like." He crossed his fingers and held his breath in anticipation for her answer.

Celaena blushed “I would love to go!” She scrambled, at a loss for words “I can’t belive you picked me out of all the girls in this school, you really are the nicest person here” she said, her face blushing. She pulled him into a hug “what I mean to say is,Thank you” she whispered

((Question, so Marcus’s Spring Fling outfit is steampunk (which I Love Btw!) should I have Celaena’s be also?)j

After pulling away from the hug, Marcus pumped his fist. "Yuss! I mean, uh, thanks. And trust me, it's my pleasure."

She grinned, “I’m so excited! I’ve never been to a dance before, but I know how to dance. Is that weird?” She asked.

((K I will!))

"Nah." He grinned, "Is it weird that I have no idea how to dance, at all?"

((Do you wanna move on to the spring fling now?))

((Yes))

“Not at all. I don’t mind” she said with a smile

((Yo I'm gonna be taking a break from RPs for a little bit cause school is getting crazy. Maybe for a week, or maybe even a month, I really don't know, but wait for me cause I'LL BE BACK!😂also, sorry that it cuts right into our spring fling rp, I really couldn't help it, but hopefully it doesn't mess things up too much))
