So, I'm reading this on Hoopla, which is a new thing.

Somehow, can't connect to Hoopla on my Kindle Fire.

So far, I like it.

Is this "Arkham City" universe supposed to be separate from other Batman stories?

Yeah. Pretty good.

Issue 4 was not exactly a cliff-hanger, but it ended with the Arkham Knight, the 'super-batman' killing off a villain in jail.

I guess the 'super-vigilante' has been a theme before in Batman.

Has anyone read "Batman Year Two"?

Arkham Knight is basically "The Reaper," but with a great costume:

that bit, where Batman uses a batarang to open the barrel of Joker's anti-venom like a beer, and pours it down Commissioner Gordon's throat, was a superb coup. It's like the whole storyline was a set-up for that gag.
