Andréa (fernandie) | 913 comments I enjoyed the art style of this book and the overall story. I thought the placement/construction of the text bubbles made it somewhat hard to follow who was talking, though.

Russell | 80 comments I enjoyed this one, read it in one sitting! I have always been fascinated with Christie as a person and getting to see her life in these vignettes was an interesting perspective. I do wonder about the inner world of a writer. If the characters they create end up being their friends or confidants in their own inner worlds. I do believe that characters can take on a life of their own and exist in the physical world if, at least, in the writers own imagination.
The art style was appealing to me, not realistic but more cute, which helped me believe that Christie did have her characters such as Marple and Pierrot as her companions.
I have enjoyed the biography type GN the best and I hope we do more of them!

That's good for me to know! I like doing a variety, but I also (hopefully obviously) like us to do books that appeal to most of us, so it's good to know people's preferences.
