I have set up a thread about the Quarterly Irish Play here:https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
if anyone wants to take a look.
I can only send one message per day to all members so I couldn't announce the play thread properly!
Thanks.
Hans, that was our Quarterly read from October to December. Would you like to nominate a different book?
I nominate Flight by Oona Frawley. It is set in 2004 Ireland and tells the story of an elderly couple who have spent much of their their lives living in America and Vietnam, the Zimbabwean women who becomes their carer, and the couple's daughter.
We have three books nominated and seconded for the Quarterly Read now. Do you want me to extend the nomination period until March 28th as the April monthly nominations has been extended?
In a very close run poll with only 1 vote separating the three books, The Good People by Hannah Kent has been decided as our Quarterly Irish read for April to June.I am looking forward to reading it. See you all in the discussions!
