also, does anyone have any band ideas? i was gonna suggest "daybreak" but as it turns out that's an actual krock band...

also what type of rock are we talking here... like pop rock or indie rock or rap rock or hard rock or

idk but day6 and the rose are both pop rock

hm well indie rock (e.g. hyukoh) and pop rock (e.g. cnblue) both are more mainstream in sk currently

alternatively there are also older, well-established bands like nell or gukkasten which are not mainstream but well-respected in their genre. metal and hard rock aren't as popular so the band probably wouldn't be as well known because if i'm not mistaken those bands like sinawe and boohwal were biggest in like 80s-90s.

im inclined to say pop rock because the only other genre of rock i really listen to is alt-rock which is an umbrella genre in itself

Yeah, I feel that pop rock is something that holds more weight in terms of popularity and it's also one that a lot of people seem to recognize easily. Also, I'll let you guys know my face claim later. The WiFi is down and I have some brainstorm stuff on my laptop

according to wikipedia the difference between pop rock and normal rock is that it's more about the process of creating the song (songwriting, recording) rather than the 'attitude'

personally i had something similar to buzz in mind

i'm going to be using kang minhyuk for my fc and i'm making him 26

i think i'm probably leaning a bit toward pop rock bc it focuses less on a specific attitude unless we want to incorporate a typical rock-esque attitude?

hm i was thinking that jeonghan has dabbled in hard rock also but not necessarily with this band (just, like, at some point in his life and career lmfao)... pop rock is fine, buzz is actually considered a pop rock band lol
