My question only applies to readers who have read the whole Hades hangman series.

I've been a drifter with this series. This book kept coming back to my recommendations for a few years. I just never took the leap . One day I saw Damnable Grace liked the description read it . I was hooked then realised it was this series. Then I wanted to know about Flame so I read unfractured souls. I'm onto number 6 now Crux untamed.

So far my favourite Unfractured souls. The pain in that was on a whole and the empathy was on a whole. Emotional, physical, sexual. When I read Damnable Grace I thought AK does understand Pheobe to a certain extent. Then I went back and Flame, Maddie stole my heart.

Because of snippets of Styx- Mae , Ky-Lilah in the other 3 books I've read I'm intrigued. But I personally think because their books were written before the anguish might be mediocre?

I know Unfractured Souls was like finding a treasure full of jewels 10 of anguish. I find Damnable Grace and Crux Untamed at 7/8 .

I know I might sound like a dick for rating the pain and deminating the story to pain/anguish level. But I'm trying to create a picture here . So that someone who has read the books can tell me . If the other previous books are as good.

If you haven't read Crux untamed that's fine it's fairly new. Then compare the first few to Damnable Grace.
