Hi everyone! My friends call me Sugar. I love classic rock music and science fiction books. Sometimes I have difficulty reading because of tinnitus. I'm hoping to meet other tinnitus sufferers who love to read so we can give each other some encouragement. It doesn't matter what books you like to read. Let's be friends!

I have slight tinnitus myself, and it is really annoying!

Hi Jenny. Sorry it took me so long to see your reply. Tinnitus is so annoying. At first it was difficult for me to read, but I have been increasing my concentration.

It may be a stupid question, but what is tinnitus?

It is a ringing in your ears.

That sounds horrible.

It's all good Sugar! I have found that haveing the tv or music on helps.
Camille, it all depends on how bad it is. Mine is not bad, so it's almost like a bee is buzzing by my ear, although it does sometimes get worse.
