Hello all!

It has come to our attention that the formatting of the Goodreads comment section can be a little confusing, so we've put together a guide on how to format your posts, for those of you looking for one.

Formatting requires you to embed commands within your comment:

To bold: you have to type < b > (without the spaces), enter the text you want bolded, and then end it with < / b >.

Italicizing requires < i > and < / i >. Underlining requires < u > and < / u >.

If you would like to reply to another member's post, you can do that by clicking "Reply" at the bottom right of their post. It will open up another comment that says:

< i > Leander Public Library wrote: "... "< / i >. You can cut and paste the portion of the other member's comment you would like to discuss within the quotation marks. The < i >'s will have to be left there to italicize the other member's comment.

Before posting, you can preview your post by clicking "Preview," located by the Post button.

You can edit your post by clicking "edit" on the bottom right corner, or delete it by clicking "delete."

If you have any other questions about how to format your posts, feel free to post them here. We or other members can do our best to answer!
