Oooh, lots for me to investigate there. Here are some others:Standalone
Dragonworld by Byron Preiss
This is nearly 40 years old now but a great book.
Series
A Game of Thrones by George Martin
Needs no introduction but definitely has dragons!
King's Exile by William L. Culbertson (Chronicles of the dragon bound)
Draykon by Charlotte E. English (Draykon trilogy)
Guards! Guards! by Terry Pratchett introduces a fun take on dragons. It's the 8th Discworld novel, but it's #1 in the City Watch subset.
Gardens of the Moon by Steven Erikson (Malazan Book of the Fallen)Eragon by Christopher Paolini (Inheritance Cycle)
Dawnthief by James Barclay (Chronicles of the Raven)
The Hero and the Crown by Robin McKinley (Damar)
The Forgotten Beasts of Eld by Patricia A. McKillip
Dragon Prince by Melanie Rawn (Dragon Prince)

Dragonsbane remains one of my favorites. The Dragon Lord also, very very twisted spin on Arthurian.
Dragon's Pawn
There's a nice two volume anthology, various authors, nicely illustrated:
Dragons of Darkness and Dragons of Light
I will have to trip upstairs to the loft to continue this list - many many off the beaten titles, with dragons, shelved there.
Oh wow, so many recommendations. I'll add those to the list :)
And here I was, claiming to love dragons. I've read almost none of the books :o

It's up there for me too. The City Watch is my favorite subset so far, but I'm not even half way through everything. There are whole subsets I haven't even started yet...
This is so good! I love dragons. I’ve convinced each class I have that I have a dragon in the Welsh hills.
These are great lists. I might have to do a Dragon challenge when I finish the three I'm working on now.

My trip to the bookshelves in the loft brought up these titles, some of them obscure....some old favorites.Song of the Beast by Carol Berg - one of my favorites.
The Last Dragonlord by Joanne Bertin
Fortress of Dragons by CJ Cherryh, which is in her Fortress in the Eye of Time series.
The Door Into Shadow by Diane Duane
A Darkness At Sethanon by Ray Feist, which falls in his Magician/Riftwar series.
Michael Moorcock also wrote The Dragon in the Wood, but other tomes with the same title are many/too many to search through to find it. Good Luck!
The Elvenbane
Dragon's Treasure by Elizabeth A. Lynn
Dragon World by Byron Preiss and J. Michael Reeves (another case of too many titles to search to find it)
The Warrior Lives by Joel Rosenberg
Dragonrank Master by Mickey Zucker Reichert
Schemes Of Dragons by David Smeds
The Eyes of the Dragon by Stephen King involved a poison derived from them.
I haven't started on the illustrated art books/Dragons, there are many.
Wow..... I thought I was well read fantasy-wise but I'm not familiar with a single one of the books above. Thanks Janny, consider me inspired

Speaking of dragons, Michael Swanwick's The Iron Dragon's Daughter is currently $2.99 on Amazon.Janny, was the Moorcock book The Dragon in the Sword? Also, dragons figure heavily in many of the Elric books.
Also, it looks like it's Dragonworld (one word). Not sure if I read that one, but I'm a big fan of Michael Reaves, especially his The Shattered World and its sequel (which may or may not have dragons in them?).

Maybe it was - the typeface on the spine was very "arty" and our book loft gets a huge amount of Florida sun, so the spines are sometimes faded - read sideways, you could be right.
