The Crash discussion

Kiara opened her eyes slowly and painfully. One of her eyes was full of sand. She tried to sit up but cried out in pain. She glanced at her arm and sighed, it was hanging in a crooked angle. It was broken.

Jazmyn woke up to a searing pain. That was the first sign something was wrong. The second was the blurry vision. She blinked, and blinked again, and again until it began to clear.
The plane... dear god, it was torn in two, people were passed out in the seat. She turned her head to look at Amanda, her friend. Amanda’s head was lolled, there was a metal shard sticking out of her neck.
Jazmyn began to scream and fumble with her seat belt.

Kiara heard a scream from somewhere inside the plane. "Hello?" she called out, her throat parched. That was when she saw the first dead body. It was her teacher, blood was all over her face and her face was contorted in pain. She screamed and screamed and screamed until she was out of breath.

Jazmyn finally got out of her seat, she stood up and nearly passed out. She dropped to her knees, blood dripping from her forehead. There were others screaming. So much screaming. She was almost a senior, she had to help. She hauled her self up with on hand while the other hung limply at her side. She looked around for the other screamer.

Jazmyn spotted Kiara and walked over to her, almost in a trance. “A-Are... are you okay?” Jazmyn blinked blood from her eye.

Kiara looked up at the other girl above her. She blinked once, "Uh, not really." she answered. "But I bet you are even worse of that me."

Jayden opened his eyes and realized only one of them was open. Actually, they were both open, but his left eye was cut, a glass shard still stuck into it. He panicked and tried to pull it out, but he realized his right forearm was broken. It looked very weird because he could move his elbow up and down, but not the rest of it. He quickly tore the glass from his eye and then looked at Jazmyn and Kiara.

Kiara turned to the boy and began screaming all over again because there was blood all over his face and it was coming from his eye.

"Don't worry, it's okay! I just need to..." He cut out a strip of his shirt with the glass shard and tied it around his head like an eyepatch. "It'll be fine! This is what I need to worry about!" He pointed to his right arm.

“Okay, okay!” Jazmyn stumbled backward, “Shut up, calm down!” She shrieked at them, “you, kid... um... jay? Can you get out of your seat? And you, kiara, get out of yours.” She whispered. Get away from the wreckage. That was first and fore most, then deal with injuries.

Kiara stopped her screaming, but soon after began to sob. "I can't," she told the other girl and pointed to her right arm. "It's my right, and I am right handed."

“It’s a seat belt, use your left hand. You have to try.” She whispered.

Kiara fumbled with the seat belt for a few moments trying to get it open. After about fifteen minutes she managed it and stood up only to fall back down onto the seat, her head spinning.

“C’mon,” Jazmyn pulled her up with her one good hand and slung the girls arms around her shoulder.

"Thanks," Kiara managed to say. She was too busy trying not to pass out

Lorelai opened her eyes. The first thing she saw was bodies..... everywhere. "I hope they aren't dead" she muttered. Her brain then immediately went and thought of the thousands of things she learned from the wilderness. She should probably find a source of water first. As she tried to get up, she felt a burst of pain from her ankle. She sighed. It was sprained.

“Jay.. can you walk?” Jazmyn adjusted Kiara. Her shoulder screamed in pain. “Check, check for others. Quickly.” She felt nauseous.

Lorelai pushed herself using a pole in the corner. She limped over to the door in front of her and saw more bodies on the ground.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I mean, my legs are fine. I can help one of them walk with my left arm." He tried to get his seatbelt off, but it was jammed. He used the glass shard again, to cut the belt.

Lorelai pushed open another door, grabbing a sharp piece of steel on the way. She suddenly felt her feet slip and landed flat on her back. She screamed out in pain and looked around, wondering what caused her slip. Her eyes widened. It was a gun!

Kiara screamed in pain again when her arm was accidentally moved.

"Here, let me help." said Jay. He put his arm under Kiara's shoulder.

“C’mon, out of the plane.” Jazmyn grunted and started walking through the narrow aisle.

Lorelai's eyes widened again. There were some figures in the distance! "Hello?" she called out to them. She grabbed her gun closer to her, in case they were dangerous.

Kiara glanced thankfully at the boy and then looked ahead and saw a girl shouting in the distance, she pointed her out to the other two.

"Hey! Who is that? What are you holding!? We don't want to fight!" He was getting ready to run.
