I was just sitting under one of the trees when I hear footsteps which made me a little nervous.

Jen was just resting under a tree when she heard footsteps in the distance. This made her very nervous because she is full of anxiety right now.

jen had no clue who it was so she said "who's there ? Show yourself !" In a confidently nervous tone!

Eleanor stepped out from behind the tree, "Sorry," she whispered quietly. "I didn't mean to make you nervous."

Jen was shocked at how beutiful this girl was, even though we had all just crashed! "It was my bad I know nobody here so I am becoming depressed and I suffer from an anxiety disorder, so worry is more like a hobby!" "I hope I didn't scare you?"

She smiled, "No," she said. "It's perfectly fine, I just can't hear or see from this side of the face."

Jen was shocked! "I am so sorry I had no idea!" " Can you ever forgive my actions?"

She smiled easily, "It's all right," she answered, "You didn't know. My name is Eleanor, what is yours?"

"Jenny, but you can call me Jen if you would like! How about you do you have a nick name or would you rather be called Elanor?"

"Most people call me Elly," she said. "And nice to meet you, Jen," she said.

"Nice to meet you too" Jen said putting out a hand.

Elly shook it seriously, and then laughed. "So," she said. "Did you have a friend that died in the crash?"

"No I was travelling to a provincial volleyball game. I love volleyball! How about you?"

"I was just going with a friend for something she was going to do," she shrugged, "She's one of the dead ones."

"Do you need a hug?" Jen asked politely

She smiled, "If you want to give one," she answered brightly.

"I would love too! I love to help people." Jen said giving a sweet yet searing embrace to Ella who she had just met.

Eleanor hugged back, "Thanks," she said when the girl Jen let go. "How old are you?" she asked.

"I am 15 or 16 I hit my head a little hard so I don't exactly remember but I will in a few days !" "How about you elly?"

"16," she answered. "And probably a good idea, I hit my head as well, which is how the whole hearing and seeing thing happened."

"You could have also had a mini teeny tiny stroke since we all layer in the sun for a couple days?" "Sorry I am very good at first aid I became a life guard when I turned 15/16 so I know a lot about this stuff, but not what could cause your hearing problem?"

She shrugged, "Just a hit in the head, I guess."

"We will never know? Do you have any other injuries?" Jen asked looking Elly up and down

"No," she said. "Apart from bruises and scratches nothing serious," she answered.

"That's good and oh want to be friends?"

She smiled at the girls boldness, "Sure," she said. "I need one, after all."

"ME too! It will definitely help my anxiety"

"That's good," she said. "I like helping people, no matter with what I help them with!"

"Me too I think this is going to be a great friendship!"

Eleanor laughed, "I think so too."

"Um, let's see? Let's go to the fresh water spring and go for a swim!" Jen said excitedly.

"Sure," she answered. "I wouldn't mind that!"
