Hi folks, I’m doing a book giveaway during April for my novel. I tried to discuss some of the problems we face as well as solutions within the context of some action and adventure. I tried to stress the idea that we have many solutions already but lack the political will to overcome the forces actively engaged in fighting progress. I tipped my hat to The Climate Mobilization strategy and also tried to stress permaculture and renewables as well as more traditional low tech strategies. There’s also a healthy dose of earth-based spirituality in the form of Daoism for those so inclined. There is another layer to the tale which is based on Daoist internal alchemy traditions, where the main character’s inner journey is mirrored in the landscape she travels through.
