After years of having Sam and Celaena's loyalty, why is Arobynn suddenly turning against them? Do you think he may have been involved in what happened to Ben and Gregori in the first novella?

I think he was, there probably is more to this story that we don’t know yet. And hopefully will learn more about in the next story or the books.
I agree, Lieke...there is more to that story. I also think it's possible that Arobynn is jealous and a bit fearful of Celaena. She mentioned several times how she would run the assassins. Maybe he feels like she is a threat to his position.
I’ve always believed he got rid of Ben and Gregori. People are disposable to him, toys to provide entertainment for him.
Arobynn probably enjoyed the rivalry between Sam and Celaena. Once they betrayed him and cost him a lot of money, he showed his true colors. Since Celaena showed signs of having her own mind, he was done with her as she’d never again be the obedient pet. After he realized Sam’s feeling for Celaena, he no longer was useful.
Unfortunately, I’ve worked for people like Arobynn. The trick is to escape before they’re done with you.
