That sounds very interesting. I am on a constant quest of understanding myself. Doubt that it will ever end but I want to make sure that I do my best in the time I have.
Just finished reading The Happiness Flywheel by Krishnan CA — and I must say, it’s a gem. In a world obsessed with chasing success, this book flips the script by showing how happiness drives success, not the other way around. If you're looking for a book that doesn’t just motivate, but equips you with a mindset and method to thrive, I highly recommend picking this up.

I find that growth makes me hopefully so I read about it again and again.https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
Thank you for your thoughtful reflection. I relate deeply to your pursuit of the authentic life–it's something I grappled with during a long period of healing after a life-altering accident. That journey led me to write My Stoic Path To Healing, where I explored how Stoic principles helped me reconnect with what truly mattered.Like you, I found that self-knowledge is the foundation. Stoicism helped me strip away what I couldn't control and focus on the kind of life I could choose–one grounded in strength, purpose, and peace. Writing the book was part of that process, and if it resonates with others on a similar path, I'd be happy to share more.

Am I allowed to comment on my own book? I have thought about the question how to develop the elusive 'authentic life' for a very long time, and I think I can say that I, for the most part, got there in my own life.
That's why I wrote this book, as a sounding board for those who are trying to do the same. If my book has something to offer, I think it is this message:
You have to know yourself in order to know what you need. And when you do, you need to go after what you need. This is the way to build a zone in which your strengths matter, but not your weaknesses. And if you are successful in building this zone, you will have built the authentic life.
So I can say that this approach definitely worked for me. The reason I dare add it to this group as a discussion topic is that writing it was one experience that truly inspired me. I found the act of writing it itself was truly authentic, and meaningful.
And if the topics I am discussing in the book help others to develop an authentic life, that outcome would inspire me even more.
