I'm convinced. It looks like the person who uploaded the cover made a mistake. But I want Rivka to give the all-clear before I make any cover deletions...
The ISBN was added to the record 2 years after the cover. If anything is getting removed, it seems that should be.
However, here in the US, am edition published by a book club may still have the original publisher credited on the cover and/or binding. Is that not true is Norway?

Rivka, just for my own edification, how can you tell the ISBN came after the cover? I see a note about the ISBn13 being added by an open library update, but nothing about the ISBN. So I assumed that the ISBN was already on the record, presumably before the cover, since the cover was uploaded separately. Am I reading the log incorrectly?
The book record was created in 2007, and unfortunately we don't have great logging from before 2012. So I may have assumed too much about the ISBN (the ISBN10 may have been added earlier).
I am still not convinced the cover should be changed, though.

Rivka wrote: However, here in the US, am edition published by a book club may still have the original publisher credited on the cover and/or binding. Is that not true is Norway? The original publisher is credited on the cover/binding and in the colophon only in the case of first editions. This is a regular book club edition which does not credit the original publisher.
Do I have to create a new topic to have the issue of the erroneous ISBN addressed? Even if the "I'm still not convinced" reponse from Rivka leaves the entire untenable mess of this page entry hanging in the air?
I split the baby and moved the ISBN to a new record. That'll keep the cover and publisher together, though I modified the rest of the edition's info to be in keeping with what I could find on WorldCat. Though I'm not even convinced anymore that's a real cover image--I think it might be of an inside title page or something. Anyway, here is the bookclub edition:

For that one as well, I'm guessing there's a slipcover missing and that it's actually this cover:

I went ahead and uploaded Amazon's photo anyway, but if you own this and can take a photo, by all means, post a link here. Sadly, I could not find this photo from any acceptable source.
Sure, here's my scan: https://www.goodreads.com/photo/user/...publication: December 1972

According to the National Library of Norway, Tiden Norsk Forlag published editions of this book in 1951 and 1957.
The ISBN on this page is issued by the book club Den norske Bokklubben. The Amazon page for this ISBN, though listing Tiden Norsk Forlag as publisher actually states in the description, which is in Norwegian, that Den norske Bokklubben is the publisher.
WorldCat also agrees that the publisher asociated with this ISBN is Den norske Bokklubben.
