Melanie Dickerson because her stories are adorable
Tamera Alexander because her stories are long, but entertaining
Tracy Higley because her stories are well researched and well written
Julie Klassen because her stories are non-cheesy romances
Lynn Austin because her stories are well researched and well written
Jen Turano because her stories are very funny and entertaining
Jessica Dotta because her stories keep you on the edge of your seat
Angela Elwell Hunt because her stories are very well written
Lisa Bergren because her stories are so intense and well written
Francine Rivers because her stories are well written and inspirational

I like a lot of these authors, and some I've never heard of before (whoo-hoo, more books to add to the TBR shelf ;)!

My favorites are:
Anne Elisabeth Stengl because her allegory is obvious enough for the Christian to spot and squeal about, but not so much that a non-Christian reader is going to get squashed with a Bible.
Wayne Thomas Batson because his stories are both action-packed and faith building (and his books got my little brother to start enjoying reading!).
C.S. Lewis because, well, his insights on the Christian and non-Christian life are amazing, and his fiction is a double-edged sword.
Jaye L. Knight because...have you read her stories yet? Read and you shall see and discover why she has a passel of raving fangirls. ;)
J.R.R. Tolkien because epicness and faith are jam-packed in his stories (even if he "didn't intend to" ;))
There are a lot more, but it's almost midnight in my timezone and I really need to get to bed... :P

I feel that way about Jenn Sadai - her stories renew my faith in God.

Definitely J.K. Rowling. another amazing author is Erin Hunter. I LOVE these amazing authors!

I have been loving Tessa Afshar lately, Julia :)

I’d like to recommend Joanna Davidson Politano!! She writes AMAZING Christian romance that actually contains some depth. I’d compare her writing to Amanda Dykes and Julie Klassen.
