Great start. I am really intrigued to read on. But I’ve read this so late - as in the hype has been and gone, the movie is out, I’ve heard people mention it often – and so kind of feel as though I already knew about all the events that have happened so far. Which isn’t necessary a bad thing but it’s odd. I almost feel like I know the story at the moment. On the other hand, I don’t know what is going to happen, which is good and intriguing!

I am getting a little confused with who is who… I’m not sure if it’s just me but I don’t feel as though we’ve got much, if any character descriptions. Like what colour hair does everyone have? Are they tall or short, so they have short hair or long hair. I just can’t picture anyone in my head and it’s confusing me. I also spent maybe 3 chapters thinking Bieber was a guy and Leah’s boyfriend… not sure if that’s weird or if everyone missed the mention that he was a dog until maybe chapter 4…

But I am REALLY loving the amazing relationships between Simon and his family and Simon and his friends.
I just want to know what they look like!

I'm loving this book so far! It's such an easy read!

I think I've been quite lucky in avoiding spoilers considering all of the attention the book/movie has been getting. I went into it knowing the bare minimum, I didn't even know about the whole blackmail situation.

I have to admit I googled the movie cast after a chapter or so because of the lack of description regarding appearance. Since doing that so far I've managed to keep most characters straight in my head. (I say that now and another one will end up being a dog)

I got through it in like two days! It really is Liv!

And I wasn't spoiled either - I did know about the blackmail but only because that is how I've seen booktubers describe the blurb.

Hehe so glad you thought Bieber was a human too! I didn't think of doing that.... maybe I should have. Good idea!

I knew the girl who plays Hannah Baker in Thirteen Reasons Why was in Love Simon and I honestly thought she played Abby - but she's Leah. So I spent the whole book picturing Abby as the Hannah Baker actress, not Leah.

Oh well haha!
