Maria walked into the forest, breathing a sigh of relief at the shade the trees were making. She turned back to Katie. "Let's go to the creek," she said.

“Oooh, a creek,” she said. “That means water fights!”

"Yes!" Maria smiled, and dug out three squirt guns from her backpack. She handed one to Teddy, one to Katie, and kept the last one herself. She turned to Teddy. "Remember that spot I showed you last weekend? The secret one." Teddy nodded eagerly. "Yup!" He said. "Well," Maria said, "we're going to show Katie that spot!"

Katie followed them through the woods. She was so happy to have some friends, especially like them.

Suddenly, Maria turned around. With a grin upon her face, she shot Katie in the face with her squirt gun, then started running toward the creek, where she could refill. "C'mon, Teddy!" She laughed when Teddy shot her. "Insubordination! You're fired!" She spit out a mouthful of water and jumped into the water from the cliff they'd stopped on. With a large splash, she landed, and swam back up to the surface. Her grin grew as Teddy jumped in after her.

Katie stayed above them and sniped them with her water gun. When she ran out, she jumped in, screaming “CANNONBALL!”

Maria burst out laughing. She managed to swim a few feet back before she was hit by a giant splash. She tied her hair back in a ponytail, then shot Katie in the eye. Teddy had dropped his squirt gun somewhere, and was now splashing both of them randomly. "Every man for himself!" He yelled. Maria swam under the water, till she reached the bottom of the stream. She searched for several seconds till she found Teddy's squirt gun, which she filled with water. She then swam back up, and, with a squirt gun in each hand, shot both Katy and Teddy at the same time.

“Ah!” Katie screamed dramatically. She swam straight at Maria and robbed her of her guns, using all three to shoot her and Teddy. “Haha got ya now!” She said, victorious!

Maria cursed. "FINE! If you're gonna play it that way, so will I!" She pulled another squirt gun from her backpack, this one twice as big as all of their squirt guns put together. It was already loaded with water, and when squirted, it was like being sprayed with a hose. Cackling, Maria shot Katie, then Teddy. While they were getting the water out of their eyes, Maria stole the squirt guns back.

“No fair!” Katie whined. “I want it!” She climbed out of the water and up the cliff, preparing to jump on top of Maria.

Maria swam under water, and hid the three extra squirt guns under a particularly large rock, situated in the middle of a water plant. She swam back to the surface, gasping for air after lifting the rock, and filled her squirt gun with water again. Scanning her surroundings, she noticed that Teddy had disappeared. He was probably planning something...And Katie was back up on the cliff. It was only as Maria realized that that Katie jumped off.

She landed squarely on Maria, knocking the gun from her hands. “HAHA!” She screamed, loading it up and shooting Maria when she resurfaced.

Maria spit water into Katie's face, and grappled for the gun. "MINE!!!" She yelled. She splashed some water into Katie's face, then swam under. For a few panicked seconds, she couldn't find the rock she'd hidden her squirt guns under. Finally, she found it, and lifted the rock. Underneath it, she grabbed two of the three guns, and refilled them. She resurfaced, and shot Katie in the face. When she felt a splash from behind, she wasn't entirely surprised. It was Teddy, and he was holding a fish for some strange reason. Was it dead? Yes, it was most definitely dead from the way it flopped in Teddy's hand. She recoiled as Teddy through it at her face.

“Eeewwww!” Katie squealed, swimming away from the fish. She had better aim now. She shot Teddy and soaked Maria’s hair.

Maria growled as Katie shot her again. She rubbed the water out of her eyes and turned back to Teddy. "Teddy, give me the fish," she said in a dead serious tone. Solemnly, he handed it to her. "I HAVE FOUND OUT YOUR WEAKNESS SO NOW I CAN DEFEAT YOU!!!" She screamed as she threw the fish at Katie, cackling.

“Eeeeee!” She screamed. She batted the fish away with the gun and threw the gun to her right. “Eeewwwwwwwwwwww!”

Teddy swam to where Katie had thrown the fish, and caught it. First, he shot Katie in the face, then Maria. "INSUBORDINATION, TEDDY! INSUBORDINATION, I TELL YOU! YOU ARE FIRED FROM MY SQUIRT GUN TEAM!!!" Katie tackled Teddy, and stole the squirt gun. She was soaking wet, but barely noticed.

“Teddy! JOIN MY TEAM!” Katie screamed at him. “WE SHALL CONQUER!” She grabbed the fish and muttering “ewww” a couple of times, threw it at Maria.

Teddy turned to Katie thoughtfully. "Fine. But only if you buy me lots of ice cream!" He yelled, then splashed Maria. Maria glared at him. "YOU HAVE BETRAYED ME!!! YOU SHALL MEET YOUR DOOM!" She shot him with her squirt gun, and caught the fish, then threw it back at the two of them.

Katie winded as she caught the fish and avoided looking at it, tossing it to Teddy while saying “ew ew ewwwie!” She then found a rock and hid behind it, occasionally standing up to snipe Maria.

Maria swam down the stream toward a spot under the shade where they wouldn't see her. While they searched for her, she fished for a bit, and caught three fish. She smashed their heads and killed them, whispering "sorry" softly, then got back into the stream. With an evil grin, she swam toward Teddy and Katie and threw all three dead fish at them.

Katie screamed, ducking and completely running out of the stream. “I am DONE!” She said dramatically, stomping her foot on the rock and shaking water everywhere.

Maria followed her. Laughing, she took her shoes off, and shivered. "We should probably go back. It's going to get dark soon." She glanced at Teddy. "C'mon."

“Right,” Katie said, nodding and waiting for Teddy to catch up. It was chilly, and her soaked clothes were not helping with that.

Teddy leaped out of the water, and ran toward them. They headed back toward the building, weaving around trees and plants. The sun began to set as they exited the forest, and they stopped for a moment to watch it, but continued as the temperature dropped and they got colder and colder. Finally, they reached the building. "See you tomorrow?" Maria asked before heading to her dorm.

“Depends on if I do something stupid and die overnight,” she said, “But sure, I’ll try!”

Maria nodded, smiled, then stepped inside with Teddy.
