Okay ashley, I low key want your ranger, i love what you got going for him so far and also luke pasqualino just catches my eye. I promise I will have some of my character brainstorms up soon in case you want dibs on any of them.

So concerning the rangers, there are only four of them left. And their lineage[children] would also possess the skills of communication with nature and the beasts. But, this can only be done if the two parents are rangers. Otherwise the skill/power will be lost and the child won't possess any of that skill. As such, the rangers size and powers have dwindled. Eaither because their other members or past generations died, or married another that wasn't a ranger.

Our four rangers aren't blood related and they all know this information. So it seems like it would be proper for two pairs to get together in order to continue their lineage. This can sit well with the rangers, or they don't have to like it. It all depends on what you guys think of this idea or not? Let me know what you guys think and your ideas :) i am good with changing this, adding, or doing away with it. Just want to hear your guys' opinions. :) (mainly those who have a claim on a ranger. But I would also love to hear anyone else's input as well!)

i like the idea! i think that my guy wouldn't like the idea of feeling forced into a relationship with one of the other rangers, but he's got the whole i-need-to-save-the-world-and-nature hero complex so if it came down to it, he'd be dutiful and do it

so princess is engaged to big bro for foreva and then he's like basically dead so she cries to him about it bc she's a sensitive bunny

she'd probably been nice to him growing up but he was a snivelling little asshat so she kinda gave up on creating a friendship with him all these years. always told the brother "i don't think he likes me very much" OOOOH definitely should have had her and timmy cheat on the older brother back when they were younger or maybe it's even a recent development before the whole attack happened

omg i could see her being generally upset with the older brother about something so she slept with the other brother as vengence. maybe she thought the older brother was cheating on her in the first place and this was her petty revenge and then it turned out that he hadn't done anything and she was just insecure and jealous. i feel like it could be a thing where the three of them were always together and she's got the kink for the bad boy and while the older brother always treated her so kindly, she got a kick out of timmy being such an ass to her. or she liked getting riled up and passionate about the things he disagreed with. found herself making excuses to run into him and to include him on her outings with the older brother. cried to her bff that she was engaged to the other brother.

- i totally think that he should have a kid/someone young that he takes care of. he seems like a young father type figure that would be the best.
- takes care of not only a youngun but probably someone a few years younger that's angsty af and has problems and he mentors him/her basically and takes him/her under his wing

yes arya!! okay so she's an adviser to the king right? and he adores the king so like he's always doing everything like a good soldier. and she could always poke at him and try to break his icy face and he's tempted to step and squish her but she's in a really powerful position compared to him. probably still always threatens her though haha

lmao timmy would totally be the one to feed her the thought that the older brother cheated too and she's so easily manipulated that she believes him after finding "proof" but it's really nothing and she's just paranoid. also doesn't want to admit that he's not the one that she wants and scared to give herself to timmy because he's such an ass and doesnt actually care about her

she'd have probably been crushing on him since she stepped into the east kingdom for the first time. saw the two brothers and immediately assumed that timmy was her man, but then was introduced to the older one instead and she just kinda looks back at timmy who's winked at her. probably throughout her relationship with the older one, she did end up loving him and so yeah, she is pretty devastated when she hears that he's dead

i see him totally coming out and messing with her when she first came to the east and she's trying her best to be a proper princess but he keeps egging her on and trying to get her out of the box and be a little less proper but she's got a stick up her ass at first. but yeah she wants to prove him wrong and be a badass so she goes along with him on little adventures and always gets caught and in trouble

So I have two options that could go well - one is my princess of the south that visited the east often so she could have known him that way and two is my refugee in the west who could have had some kind of relationship with him before leaving or is still looking for him?

@kya yeah! So g has the younger brother and I have the southern princess that your guy was engaged to. What g and I were thinking is that she’d be engaged to him and when she first got to the east, she thought the younger brother was her guy. And so throughout her relationship with your guy, she’s semi interested in the younger and ends up having an affair behind his back. Alongside that, she thinks he cheated on her at some point but that was just the younger brother manipulating her into wanting to sleep with him. Besides that, she thinks that he is dead and gets comfort from the younger brother

@Diana: omg i love both ideas, ngl. I think I kind of like the refugee idea a little bit more? Though, honestly, he could have totally known your southern princess too. I just feel like he wouldn't trust anyone at this point and would feel safer going into uncharted territory.

jw, is she from the east? as in, fleeing the attack? or a refugee from something/somewhere else?

@jenny yeah I liked the refugee idea better too lmao! I see her being super naive in general as a person and then she’s also in this unknown territory and she’s scared out of her mind so she doesn’t know who to trust. She’s also been separated from her group probably and she doesn’t know how to deal with him. If they have some past relationship, whether it’s a friendship or a relationship, she’s probably gonna cling onto him for dear life since he might be the only person she knows. And yeah I was thinking she fled from the east early on.

and i'm down for either friendship or relationship. or maybe even a mix of both? maybe they were just getting to the relationship ship part - or like one was going to confess liking the other - and then suddenly she left? or something like that?

I think we could do a friendship like a really tight one that turns into romantic interests. Like people have always told them they would look good together but she always friend zoned him. And then he could have tried to confess feelings and she’d been kinda iffy about it all before she had to flee

So what I have in mind for the king is that he is power hungry. He is driven by it and feels like any sort of resistance won't be good. He can be somewhat suspicious of everyone, and low key paranoid that one of his loyal followers are going to turn on him. For this reason he doesn't take any crap from anyone. He does what he wants, and at the slightest mention of defiance he will threaten them. If it continues he starts making the punishments worse. But he doesnt busy himself with those kinds of people, he is a battle strategy kind of guy that likes to be in the front lines of war. He is a bit narcissistic, extremely blunt, and ruthless. That's what I have got going for him so far. :)

I have a few ideas but would love to hear yours first.

That could work. My character could be like an apprentice to yours who works another job in the palace. Maybe my character secretly wants to become an advisor and has to take down your character in order to do that. That's why they are close to your character and talk to your character when they are drunk.

That is fine with me! Maybe be I think I’ll make it so he was just starting to really fall for her when she accused him of cheating that way when he is captured and taken it drops his spirits a bit. Then he’d move on realizing /giving up hope of escape.

I really like what we have going on here for nat and my north king, Aharon. I like how much of a cutthroat she is and I believe he admires her loyalty. Especially since she was willing to kill her own parents that abandoned the kingdom. I could see them often studying war strategies, he may even bring up something to her to see if she could see it differently, think of another plan or see any flaw in it. I could even see that she was the one that suggested to wait a year before the official attack. Aharon isn't the patient type, so I don't see that war tactic coming from him.

I like the little tidbit that you put of them. It really seems like one of their conversations. Honestly she might be the only one that can make a joke to her and he wouldn't cut her throat the moment he heard it. Almost like he's used to it, plus he finds her attractive so he doesn't mind having her around and keeping that pretty neck of hers attached to the rest of her body.

"You know I could get you out of this castle and into the dungeon in a matter of seconds." "You could, that's no doubt, but then would you rather have another adviser here, or me." -stares and sighs- "Get on with what you've found out before I leave."

Do you think that they knew each other prior to her being the position she is in as an adviser? If not, that's totally cool, just wanted to know how far their history goes.

@kya: definitely would be dramatic if they ever did meet again and he finds her with his brother and it’s the whole “oh you didn’t wait for me?” “I lost hope” and it’s all sad and she doesn’t know what to say and can’t see herself admitting to him that she wanted the other brother from the beginning

@jenny: I think that it was a spur of the moment decision. Or maybe she’d been thinking of it all along and then hadn’t had the balls to say it to him and she told him suddenly right as she was leaving so they had kind of an unfinished goodbye?

I had an idea for my character's history that involves you character so I'd thought that I'd run it by you first. Depending on how long your character has been the king's advisor I was thinking that maybe my character got caught for stealing something when they were little. Your character decided as a punishment to kill my character's parents and make my character work at the palace the rest of their life. Before the execution though my character's father escapes, leaving my character's mother at the palace to get killed. Since her father escaped her mother gets killed very brutally with a slow and every painful death. My character is forced to watch and because of this my character hates your character. The character's never speak when they encounter each other at the palace and since they only really talk when your character is drunk, your character doesn't recognize mine as being who she really is.
