SIA Showcase for Readers and Writers discussion

Hey folks! As most of you know from following my thread, I run a once a month free book promotion website called Bookworms Discover. It is small and has an admittedly modest following, but that's part of the point. I started this service as a no-cost option for authors who have not had a chance to utilize larger promo sites to have a launch point for getting their books in front of readers.

How it works is that each month, I open submissions for free books and give the date of the next promo. Authors submit their permafree or KDP Select titles for consideration and my team checks them out to make sure they are a good fit. I offer up to 30 spots per month at no cost to the author. All we ask is that you share our post because that will help the service grow to reach new readers.

A lot of people have told me that by monetizing my site, I can advertise and reach a broader base. I'd like to say right now that this goes against my own personal code of ethics. Yes, I might decide at some point to do some targeted advertising, but I'll do so it of my own pocket and not at the expense of authors who already have everyone and their brother offering "advice" and "services" for a fee.

Submissions are open right now for our May post. As of right now we have many open spaces and I'd love to have more free books to offer our readers. Yes, the rules page is a bit wordy. As you might have guessed from the length of this post, I am a bit wordy myself, but that's because I like to ensure that I am communicating clearly. The rules are simple, so please read them all the way through before submitting, but do consider submitting because I'd love to have your books featured:

I've very interested, Christina. Should we set up the free book on a day of our choice or do you tell us a date and then we set it up as free on kindle that day?
